Process: 

1.Pretreatment (remove water and contaminants)

2.Esterification ( remove FFA)

3.Methanol distillation (recover methanol)

4.Transesterification (produce biodiesel)

5.Methyl Ester distillation(refine Methyl Ester)

6.Glycerination(recover oil)

First of all,water,particles and phospholipids are removed at the stage of   pre-treatment.At the stage of esterification,free fatty acids are converted into fatty acid methyl esters. Then refined oil is reacted with methanol using a hydroxide catalyst in a single-stage process yielding fatty acid methyl esters. After removal of excess methanol, the crude methyl ester is settled to remove the co-product glycerol. Following sedimentation, the ester is vacuum distilled, which removes catalyst residues, free glycerin, and other undesirable products soluble in the ester. After distillation, biodiesel is discharged to storage.

Shandong Fenghui biodiesel project is a key construction project of national circular economy demonstration city completed by Henan Hi-tech Kingdo  Industrial Co., Ltd in 2014. The first phase of the project can produce 30,000 tons of biodiesel annually, and the second phase of the project can produce 30,000 tons of biodiesel annually. Using the international mainstream biomass to prepare liquid fuel continuous production technology, using kitchen waste as raw material, after pretreatment, esterification, lipid exchange, crude fat, vacuum fractionation, biomass diesel oil is made into biomass diesel oil, which realizes production automation, fluid sealing, less pollution in the whole process, and the production technology reaches the international advanced level. The project uses six biodiesel technologies and equipment inventions. The first phase of the project from design, manufacturing, delivery, installation, debugging, training, lasted for 8 months, well received by users.
