POME/UCO Treatment System
The raw material of the project is Jatropha seed.Jatropha is a genus of flowering plants in the spurge family,euphorbiaceae.Jatropha species have traditionally been used in basketmaking, tanning and dye production. In the 2000s, one species, jatropha curcas, generated interest as an oil crop for biodiesel production.
Impurites, water and fatty acids are firstly removed through pretreatment. Then refined feedstock is reacted with methanol using a hydroxide catalyst in a two-stage process yielding fatty acid methyl esters. After removal of excess methanol, the crude methyl ester is settled to remove the co-product glycerol. Following sedimentation, the ester is vacuum distilled, which removes catalyst residues, free glycerin, and other undesirable products soluble in the ester. After distillation, biodiesel is discharged to storage.

2 Ester Exchange Process
In existed devices, have ester exchange process equipment, but the reaction kettle type reactor is no longer adapt to the current technical requirements, so we use the tube type continuous turbulent reactor, with our independent design, independent research and development of the high-tech achievements, and we get good application in practical production. So far have not found in the same industry at home and abroad and achieve the same effect applied in the actual production of the reactor.
3 Methyl Ester Distillation
The process adopts the technology of continuous distillation fractionating tower, with high yield, light product color, no smell, etc. Main process is: first, the low boiling fractionation in the refinery tower become into a fuel oil, and second, the long carbon chain fatty acid methyl ester distillation in the carbon tower and get biodiesel and by-product asphalt plants.
4 Methanol recovery
After rectification through methanol rectification tower, methanol can be recycle use, bottom liquid of methanol rectification tower through the pump to neutralize tower (the pressure of top is 0.1 MPa, temperature is 45 ℃). Then enter the rectification tower rectification, make the methanol content in the finished product up to 99%.
