Castor Seed Biodiesel Project

Raw material:

Castor Seed.We have the technology that press the castor seed oil and then product biodiesel using castor seed oil.

Main process:

1 Prepress.Pretreatment and prepress plant include following main sections: measurement, cleaning, flaking, prepressing , filtering.   

2 Extraction.Extraction plant is obtained from the pretreatment & prepress plant embryo or pie slice to get the crude oil extraction with normal hexane extraction process. Production processes include the leaching step, wet meal off steam process, mixed oil evaporation process, the solvent recovery process.

3 Oil Refining.Refining plant mainly contains the following section:deacidification degumming section.

4 Biodiesel production.Refined oil is reacted with methanol using a hydroxide catalyst in a single-stage process yielding fatty acid methyl esters. After removal of excess methanol, the crude methyl ester is settled to remove the co-product glycerol. Following sedimentation, the ester is vacuum distilled, which removes catalyst residues, free glycerin, and other undesirable products soluble in the ester. After distillation, biodiesel is discharged to storage.
