Overview
The more important of two prosessing sections for cotton seed oil extraction plant project:
1. The extraction process
During the technology of extraction, the extraction process is the most important section of the whole technology, no matter it is for directly extraction from flacks, leaching of pre-pressed cake or extraction of puffed material, which working principle are the same, but the pre-treatment of the material is different, so there are some of the difference on processing condition and selections of equipments from different material.
The discharged meal contains 25% to 35% solvent , in order to recover the solvent and obtain better quality meal, the meal can be heated to evaporate the solvent .
Unique design of steam-permeability tray ensures thorough contact between wet meal and steam, which can help to reduce direct steam consumption and achieve good desolventizing effect. Outlet temperature of secondary steam is low. The discharging mode is different in each layer to ensure the material discharging is stable and uniform. Quality of meal is consistent. Water level in meal is adjustable according to final requirements. The meal is light yellow and there is no meal linking. A solvent collector is equipped at the outlet of the secondary steam. The ejection nozzle sprays fresh solvent to collect meal fines and then make the solvent enter into desolventizer.
This can avoid discharging waste water containing organic substances.
2. Desolventization
Outlet temperature of secondary steam is low. The discharging mode is different in each layer to ensure the material discharging is stable and uniform. Quality of meal is consistent. Water level in meal is adjustable according to final requirements. The meal is light yellow and there is no meal linking. A solvent collector is equipped at the outlet of the secondary steam.
