Fermentation of biomass can produce biogas (methane). Methane (biogas) fermentation, also known as anaerobic digestion, is the process of biogas generation which under anaerobic environment microbial decomposition of organic matter, and its products are methane and fermentation residues (efficient organic fertilizer).
